Conn. Lawmaker Pushes Barney Fife Law – Limits Guns to One Round

ammoland.com | Washington DC- Connecticut Democrat state senator Edward Meyer has put forward a bill which limits civilian firearms to one round.

Like Barney Fife in the old Andy Griffith series, you’ll have one bullet with which to defend all that’s valuable to you (including you).

Through bill No. 122, Meyer seeks to ban the purchase, private sell, transport, donation, or possession of any firearm that holds more than one round. His bill also makes it illegal “for any person to fire a gun that contains more than a single round” and for any person to “purchase, sell, donate, or posses a magazine or clip capable of holding more than a one round.”

Texas Propses to Jail any Feds Trying to Enforce Gun Restrictions

radio.woai.com | A Texas lawmaker says he plans to file the Firearms Protection Act, which would make any federal laws that may be passed by Congress or imposed by Presidential order which would ban or restrict ownership of semi-automatic firearms or limit the size of gun magazines illegal in the state, 1200 WOAI news reports.

Republican Rep. Steve Toth says his measure also calls for felony criminal charges to be filed against any federal official who tries to enforce the rule in the state.

"If a federal official comes into the state of Texas to enforce the federal executive order, that person is subject to criminal prosecution," Toth told 1200 WOAI's Joe Pags Tuesday.  He says his bill would make attempting to enforce a federal gun ban in Texas punishable by a $50,000 fine and up to five years in prison.

Psychiatric Drugs, Not A Lack Of Gun Control, Are The Common Denominator In Murderous Violence

Forbes | This article was deleted from Forbes website yesterday mysteriously. But thanks to Google cache we were able to retrieve it for you.

In 2000, New York legislators recognized the ubiquitous and unambiguous connection between violence, especially gun violence and mass murder, and the widespread prescribed use of psychiatric drugs. Senate Bill 7035 was introduced in the New York State Senate that year requiring police agencies to report to the Department of Criminal Justice Services (DCJS) on certain crimes and suicides committed by a person who is using psychiatric drugs, including assault, homicide, sex offenses, robbery offenses, firearms and other dangerous weapons offenses, kidnapping and arson. The preamble to the bill read, in part:

January 10 Infowars Nightly News w/Rob Dew

MemoryHoleBlog.com (Video)| A Professor claims that the Sandy Hill massacre is filled with holes and misinformation. While we do not know all of the actual facts to the case, we do see some disturbing things that are being said that have been proven completely wrong that the major media networks would have you believe are true.

The Professor is only stating the things that do not seem to add up. He questions things as all critical thinkers do. He asks the question, why is is that the media and the law enforcement community does NOT want us to see their actual evidence and, let us make our own determinations rather that just spoon feed us things that they think are what we need to hear or see?

It is unsettling to not know the real truth about the massacre. Even if all that they say is true, why won't they present the evidence to us.

Gun Rhetoric vs. Gun Facts

FactCheck.org | The mass shooting in Newtown, Conn., has reignited a national debate on gun control. As elected leaders begin the dialogue, some facts are clear — there has been a massive increase in gun sales. Some things are not so clear — such as whether there is causation between more guns and more violent crimes. And some are contrary to the general impression — for example, the rate of gun murders is down, not up.

We have decided to look at some of the rhetoric and how it squares with the facts, while offering some broader context to inform the debate.

Patriotic Congressman Threatens Impeachment Of Obama

If only our country had more patriotic representatives like this, we would not be in the situation that we are in.  Where are the rest of you? Congressman Stockman should have had a crowd of fellow congressmen and congresswomen supporters behind him.  Why did you run for office?  Just for the easy work?  To be famous or popular?  Now is the time when your fellow Americans and your country needs you to stand up and fight for the constitution that so many patriots fought and died for.   What's your excuse?

dailycaller.com | Texas Republican Rep. Steve Stockman threatened Monday afternoon that he would file articles of impeachment against President Barack Obama if he institutes gun control measures with an executive order.

Stockman warned that such executive orders would be “unconstitutional” and “infringe on our constitutionally-protected right to keep and bear arms.”

“I will seek to thwart this action by any means necessary, including but not limited to eliminating funding for implementation, defunding the White House, and even filing articles of impeachment,” Stockman said in a statement.
