Proposal to Give Judges Role in Drone Strikes

washingtonpost.com | A proposal to give federal judges a direct role in the nation’s drone campaign gained new momentum this week with a signal from senior lawmakers that they intend to consider creating a special court to oversee the selection of targets for lethal strikes.

But the idea — cited by Sen. Dianne Feinstein (D-Calif.), among others, as a way to impose new accountability on the drone program — faces significant legal and logistical hurdles, according to U.S. officials and legal experts.

LAPD Pulls ‘Waco’ on Christopher Dorner to Silence Him Forever

intelhub.com | The LAPD has pulled a Waco. Barely two hours after ordering the media to remove their helicopters from the area and cut all live feeds, the LAPD managed to set fire to the cabin occupied by Christopher Dorner and burn him alive inside it, according to media reports.

Mission accomplished for the LAPD, an organization that has run its manhunt more like a rampaging street gang than a professional police department.

NDAA on Trial- Did You Know About It? Chris Hedges takes on Obama

The sad fact is that most Americans don't even know what the NDAA stands for let alone the main stream media even covering a precedent setting lawsuit to have it declared unconstitutional. In case you didn't know what the NDAA is it is the National Defense Authorization Act. It gives the government the right to indefinitely detain anyone that it declares a danger to national security. Including reporters such as yours truly if the government says that reporting the news is not in the best interest of the government.  They can arbitrarily claim that a reporter or a citizen is an enemy combatant without having to prove it.

This not only violates our Constitutional right to a trial by a jury of your peers, it gives the government the power to make you disappear without being able to notifying anyone including your family or friends. Basically, it says that by reporting or talking about subjects that the government deems a danger to the secrecy of the governments plans that may or may not be legal under the Constitution, you do not get a chance to argue that in a court of law.
